Bale Kambang Also in the Taman Gili is the beautiful Bale Kambang (Floating Pavilion), which has been extensively rebuilt this century. Its ceiling, decorated with Klungkung-style paintings, was redone in 1945. Around the Kertha Gosa and the Bale Kambang, note the statues of top-hatted European figures, an amusing departure from the normal statues of entrance guardians.-LP The weather was perfect when I took these pictures.
